If you want to come here you can transfer any sum of money
for yourself. You'll get them with 1,0% bank commissions.
Western Union is opened in Bishkek now. It is the safest and fastest
way to transfer money.
You must indicate the following
- your address
- phone number
- and the sum as we need to fill up the forms to get money
Credit cards.
- Credit cards are accepted in some of the larger hotels in Bishkek.
Check with your credit card company for merchant acceptability and other
services which may be available.
Travelers checks.
- These are accepted in one bank in Bishkek; commission charges are
3%. Cash is recommended.
Eurocards and master cards except maestro cards. You can cash them in the
bank at 2% commissions.
Currency restrictions.
- The import and export of local currency is prohibited for foreigners.
The import of foreign currency is unrestricted, subject to declaration.
The export of foreign currency is limited to the amount declared on arrival.
